Safety in the workplace is a concern for every industry, and jobsite injuries are more prevalent than any of us would like. In fact, a report by the Bureau of Labor and Statistics found that nearly 3 percent of full-time employees were injured on the job in 2019.
A safe and healthy workplace not only protects workers from injury and illness, it also reduces injury and illness costs, reduces absenteeism and turnover, increases productivity and quality, and boosts employee morale. That’s why at Brehob, safety is part of our culture and our commitment to our employees. Our top priority is making sure our people head home to their families safe and unhurt at the end of the day — and our safety measures and training show it.
We were recently recognized for these efforts, earning CCS Certification from the Coalition for Construction Safety. The Coalition for Construction Safety (CCS) works to eliminate construction and facilities maintenance jobsite injuries, and make our industry better and safer. A 10-year member of CCS, Brehob achieved this certification after a rigorous, cumulative three-year process of auditing that reviews safety processes, showing our high achievement in safety.
When it comes to safety, Brehob’s values are closely aligned with CCS. We believe in their mission to make our industries safer — and in turn, to make us safer, and will continue to look for new ways to provide a safe work experience for our team and our subcontractors.
We’re proud of our entire team for making safety a priority every single day, and for helping us earn this honor. Read more about the certification here.
